The National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) has been vital in my professional nursing development, starting as student member and continuing through my support as a sustaining member today. In further support of the organization, I have been a donor to the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (FNSNA) and am currently honored to serve as Secretary on the FNSNA Board of Trustees.
I am proud to support scholarships and services through the FNSNA to assist our next generation of nurses alleviate some of the financial burden of nursing school and decrease their amount of debt upon graduation. In just this last year alone, FNSNA awarded over $244,000 in undergraduate nursing scholarships.
As FNSNA hits its 50th anniversary, 3M™ Littmann® Stethoscopes has given us a grant to match our fundraising efforts, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. This would total $100,000, which is an outstanding way to support our 50th anniversary.
